Man, it is so nice to have this Olympia show from June of last year. For starters, I was there. (With [livejournal.com profile] babiesforprofit.) So that always makes a nice sort of memento. But also, I'm glad because it's got a good version of Alpha Desperation March, a kickin' rendition of Game Shows Touch our Lives, this song called Onions that I've never heard anywhere else, and the best between-song banter I've ever heard from the Goats. Go to that link from the last post and hunt it down, if only for Peter's rant about the Uno bars at the Shell station in Oly and the subsequent joint enthusiasm about Cheaters ("That show should have been called 'Mountain Goats Song!' ").

Oh, and plenty of TMI about John's former drug habits. I would totally read that dude's autobiography.
