Also, I might have a date sometime soon, but that's beside the point.

So I went and saw the guys tonight at the 400 bar, and it was a good craic. The bonus is that it turned out they were opening for... Eath? Eth? The frontman from Clem Snide. And he was pretty solid. I was probably 50-50 on his songs, but man, the dude has some fabulous guitar chops. He had absolutely no backup, but he sure managed to fill the stage with sound. Here's the quiz to tell whether you'll like Eth or Eath or whatever:

• Do you like Neutral Milk Hotel and/or The Mountain Goats' acoustic boombox stuff?

Yup, lots of good rain this weekend. Meanwhile, I'm working on a Ruby program to handle my delayed reference info collection system. No, honest, it's fascinating. Anyway, it turns out I've gotten pretty damn good at regexes, so hurray. Yup. Back to work!
