Guys, it is practically 80° out there. It is AWESOME.

Tonight I hung out with Sanden, a buddy of mine from the Annual Fund, and ate some really good Mexican food.

Actually, we'd been planning to go to the Holy Land Deli in the Midtown Global Market, 'cause I've been itching to go there for months and just have not gotten around to it. So I got there to wait for him, and they were closing up the joint. At 8pm. Boo. So we wandered around for a bit, and ended up going to Guyaquil, which is in the same neighborhood and which neither of us had been to. Anyway, they only had two vegetarian things on the menu, and one of them was a bit of a joke, but the remaining one totally owned. Beans and rice with fried sweet plantains and, like, half an avocado. Flavor explosion. A single order fed both of us just fine, and it came out to like less than six bucks each, including tip. Hint to restaurateurs: If you're only going to have one real vegetarian meal on the menu, make sure it's as good as that one.
