The old five-disc shuffle

I had a sudden urge to hear OK Computer all the way through, and it was easier to find the disc and use the house stereo than to find some speakers for my computer. And that was when I realized I do, in fact, have nostalgia for CDs, god help me.

It's just, the first CD player we ever bought back in 1995 turned out to be a really solid piece of gear, and it's still around doing primary duty in the living room, and I kind of have an emotional connection with it, and it all came back in a rush just now. You know, that standard I'm-back-at-the-childhood-home nonsense.
