Microsoft is end-of-lifing the remaining Win9x OSes on July 11. Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say, but I don't like the idea of what's going to happen when the first new remote exploit gets discovered.
I got 169 on this thing, which was making me feel preeeetty good about myself. And then I went and found the Making Light post I found it from, which is clogged with people who scored in the 180s. Oh well.
Holy crap, Broken Social Scene's music videos (click on "media") are AWESOME! Who directed these?! Ibi Dreams of Pavement was packed so full of story I thought it would explode. A little seizure-inducing, but still awesome.
Hey Mozillastalkers: the nightly Bon Echo alpha builds are finally pretty much good enough to use for regular browsing. Beta's not too far off, I guess. If you're on a Mac, I definitely recommend trying it out; Mentovai rewrote a whole bunch of really basic code for event handling, so it feels a lot faster now.
Hey, Livejournal: Say I've got a pillow that spent a year in a basement and was in a box whose contents got slightly moldy and/or mildewy. I should throw that out, right?
I haven't been sleeping on it; it's still just leaning up against the wall. I've been reluctant to throw it out, because, like, wasteful, but on the other hand, toxic mold. So I've been at an impasse. Help?
