That futon's so-so. The bed is much better. Granted, it doesn't get to you until you've been sleeping on it for a week, but it really doesn't give much support, and my back would always get around to telling me so. This new one's quite a bit better.
But I agree, it's fun to sleep on a futon! Or a couch. Part of that is the fact that I slept on a top bunk between 5th grade and the middle-end of 2001, with another up-high interlude in the v-coop first half of junior year. So for me, sleeping close to the ground is exotic. I guess we all have our things.
