roadrunnertwiceGuess whose pretty little face is in the local glossy gay arts rag! I am counting this as a coup, since I doubt I'm gay enough or arty enough to land there under other circumstances.
This is as good a time as any to mention that word about Rustica is rapidly (and sometimes kind of frighteningly) getting around. Lynne Rossetto Kasper of The Splendid Table has, apparently (I've been unable to find the audio, but several customers have reported back to us), referred to us on-air as her favorite bread-bakery. A day or two ago, I got to pass the cellphone number of a major local newspaper's food writer along to my boss.
I mean, the place was hardly a secret half a year ago, but it seems like momentum has been building lately. I'm glad; Steve, Tammy, and Kelly are craftspeople of the highest order, and they deserve the props.
