Last Mother 3 entry for a while, promise
I finished the game.
And yes, dammit, I cried a bit. Actually, I think the score was something like three cries of "NO," much sniffling during the last battle, and then finally losing it in the credits when Claus started walking downscreen.
There's a lot more I could say about it, but I don't know that it really needs to be said. It was beautiful and honest and brave, and it ended exactly the way it had to. I'm glad I got to play it.

And I get a little choked up when the Earthbound end credits get to the part where the music pauses for an "I miss you" just before the end, so I can totally believe they were capable of more of that emotion.
Inside the mailbox was the sound of a whole lot of nerds crying.
I've fallen behind because of that big fat migraine I had, so I just finished up with Tanetane Island. That was... incredibly special.
"Empty... except for the 1000 rat corpses."
You're weak! You're weak! Lotus rooooot!

The score for Mother 3 is brilliant, though. Probably pushing the upper limit on what the GBA's chip can do.
