So here's a Thing.

I've got three networks that I can connect to with Mariner (my repurposed internet-cadging router), with varying degrees of reliability. This morning, they're all perfectly reachable; I can lock on to them with Mariner's web tool, and then ping their routers from Albatross or Crow. So everything's working great in terms of what my setup is designed to do. Rock-solid reliability between me and the access point.

I couldn't even ping Google from any of them. They must have all been connecting to the internet through the same unreliable cable provider, which was knocked out for most of the morning.

While I'm undeniably getting what I paid for, I still can't help but be offended by that. I mean, honestly, what are the chances.
