Biannual
means twice a year; biennial means once every two years. Avoid both.

Yeah, I think the streak is technically broken. But it's still pretty industrial-strength over here.

We're trying not to use water much at my house to save our septic field...that's how high the water is. My aunt can't use water at all, she'll be staying with us. Meaning even shorter showers...

Hey, that's what copy editing is all about: getting paid to bitch about how much other people's writing sucks. It's a sweet job, except for the part where you have to read a whole bunch of stuff that sucks.

Frankly, the BBC is only mildly more bitchy than the AP Style Guide, and mildly less bitchy than the guide I wrote for my college paper.
