I really don't think there's any way I can respond to this without sparking off a massive flame war, so I'll just say this is yet another reason the Dakotas should have their statehood taken away and given to D.C.

As a resident of Arlington, VA for four years, I concur with the sentiment about D.C.

I'm surprised this isn't making more of an impact, especially at Mount Holyoke. It's the kind of thing you'd expect a women's college in Massachusetts to pounce on. I'm sure we'll see more of a firestorm if this makes it to the Supreme Court.
