roadrunnertwiceJill Riley on the Current just informed us that Sleater-Kinney is "going on indefinite hiatus." Read, they have no plans to reconvene as a band at any point in the future. Not that this is completely out of the blue, but man, that was not something I really wanted to hear.

It sounds like they'll be playing one show in Portland in August. That might be a decent time to schedule a short trip back to the Northwest. Catch up with the fam. Hang out with my Portland friends. Party with Robert. See S-K's probably-last-show-ever. We'll see.
