TCCB: The Boiler Room

So this place is, like, brand new. (2 months.) It's over on third avenue, right south of 18th or so, west side of the street. All the furniture is very pristine and, er, Scandinavian. Coffee was unimpressive, and the air here smells like ice cream cones, which is sort of grossing me out right now. (On the other hand, they have ice cream.) And it looks like it's only open 'til 9. But the room is kind of down in a hole, so that's pretty cool, and it's right near my place. (Closer than Acadia, even.) And the people are really nice! The older lady just gave me a free refill. (It tastes a bit better than the first cup.)

Bonus points for couch. Even more bonus points for painting the café green and the men's room orange.

I love when coffee shops (or anywhere) paint their bathrooms hilariously vivid colours. The main one in town here has your regular creme walls in the store, but one of the bathrooms is an insane blood red and the other is a neon lime green.
