The dippy grin is because I get to sleep on a bed now.



I'm still kind of pathetic for not doing this two or three months ago, but eh. I work on my own schedule.

sounds like you're working just about on my schedule...relatedly, i'm now sleeping on your old futon (grandma's here, and she's taking over my room), and y'know, it's pretty nice

'course, i also have this thing about sleeping on couches, so i may be judging a little too quickly...

That futon's so-so. The bed is much better. Granted, it doesn't get to you until you've been sleeping on it for a week, but it really doesn't give much support, and my back would always get around to telling me so. This new one's quite a bit better.

But I agree, it's fun to sleep on a futon! Or a couch. Part of that is the fact that I slept on a top bunk between 5th grade and the middle-end of 2001, with another up-high interlude in the v-coop first half of junior year. So for me, sleeping close to the ground is exotic. I guess we all have our things.

Oh, plus, that futon used to better, but it's kind of wearing out, especially with the metal frame. They do that.
