Oh, so I went to the Omega Wolf Productions show last night. It was a bunch Bad Comedy refugees putting on their first show as a new and independent entity, and was a mix of old and new sketches.

A bunch of it was kind of meh, with one sketch in particular seeming like little more than a game of offensiveness bingo, but man, when those guys are on, they are ON. In particular, the Albert Einstein/Velociraptors sketch and the episodic triple monologue about Voltron were just blinding. (Not coincidentally, those were the two biggest Daniel Sword features. The dude is funny.)

Afterwards, I hung out with Dan Ettinger, Bill, Miguel, and (just to make it an authentic ex-Macalester event) another guy named Nick.

EDIT: Also, if you didn't already see this when [livejournal.com profile] hit_the_leland posted it, you need to check it out. (embedded Quicktime file.) You see how in the course of about forty seconds, you get a concrete feel for the personalities of all five of those guys? THAT is how you do a motherfucking fight scene. And Jesus, that camera work... arrrgh!

That is, quite possibly, the best-damn-animated fight scene ever.
