The Producers! OMFG SO GOOD. Man, why did Hollywood decide to stop being completely barking mad?

Word to the goodness of the original, by all means. Haven't seen the remake, and don't have much desire to.

He wrote a compelling autobiography which I listened to on books-on-tape earlier this year. An odd, sometimes passive-agressively annoying, yet very intelligent and intentional person.

I LOVE the original. I'm so sad I didn't see it when two members of V6 starred in it, but it didn't tour down to Osaka. Sadness. Al did go see it, and apparently was the only one laughing for most of the show.

Oh my GOD Gene Wilder is hilarious in the movie though. Haven't seen the remake. Have you? Is it worth it?

I saw the remake. I thought it was good, but I've never seen the original, so I have no idea if it'd be a let down or not.
