The NOVA article is WRONG! There were 25 kids the first year!

And the first paragraph made me laugh, as once I actually GOT IN TROUBLE for saying in a class at NOVA, during a discussion about elementary school social stratification, that NOVA students were at NOVA because we were academically talented. I was told in no uncertain terms that this was insensitive and biased of me and that NOVA was in no way selective like that and did not discriminate based on shallow things like smarts.
