Do you find that your face is cooler (temperature-wise) without a beard?

Well, a lot of that comes down to position. I think I dump most of my waste heat through the sides and upper-front of my face, so while I'd expect a huge difference from shaving off some long sideburns, the trimmed goatee I had going didn't really do much one way or the other. The one thing I did notice today was the feel of the wind on there when I was biking. That was pretty exciting.

Mostly, I just absently reach up to play with the whiskers (like I'm wont to do) and then widen my eyes and visibly jump when they're mysteriously missing. It must be fun to watch.

(I had that thing for more than two years. Man.)
