I found this Q and A with the NYT's Deputy News Editor to be pretty fascinating. This is because I am a huge dork. But I know some of you are huge dorks too, so I thought I might share!

Many of his arguments are quite similar to positions I fought for when I was a copy editor.

I still think newspapers should use serial commas, though. They're much clearer, and "tradition" is not ever a valid argument in favor of anything.

Yeah, I am an absolute partisan for the serial comma. (We set type with computers now, people, come on.)
