Nov. 15th, 2007 09:32 pmWheeeee, getting a complicated database-driven PHP application that makes extensive use of external binaries and mod_rewrite up and running on my Macbook and then duplicating the state (to the tune of a gig of photos and a meg and a half of SQL records) of a remote installation of same is FUUUUUUN! ^_^
I totally did it, though. AND I found out that I'd been doing the database backups wrong! (Most of the data was intact, but all non-ASCII unicode glyphs got chewed up.)
EDIT: While we're on the topic of INTERNETS, check out this completely awesome post about Firefox 3 theme issues. I like the cut of this Faaborg dude's jib -- the FF2 theme was basically a trainwreck, but this gives me a lot of hope for the next go-round.
