Feb. 18th, 2008 12:43 amTonight I took what I think may have been my very first aspirin. No, really. I was a kid right around when they started getting seriously concerned about Reye's syndrome, and by the time I grew up, I was already in the habit of taking tylenol or ibuprofen instead.
Anyway, I have much less of a headache now, so I guess I give it a thumbs up.

Date: 2008-02-18 08:09 pm (UTC)They recently started making baby aspirin again, except I think it has a "not for kids" label. They're marketing it to old people as a blood thinner. (Apparently it's exactly the right dosage. Plus, I think if you dissolve the whole pill in your mouth, it goes into your bloodstream without touching your stomach so you can take it daily for years without getting ulcers.)
