Huh.

...I did it. I signed up for the novice rider motorcycle class.

Never mind that I'm hoping to move south before my class happens; I'll start watching for openings to move my date forward, and if I've already moved, I can either cancel for refund or just ship back north for a few days and get it done. No problem! No, I do not currently own a motorcycle. Also not a problem.

So this is what forward motion feels like. I'd almost forgotten.

You know, of late, I've started to fantasize about owning a fully-electric Vespa. Don't know if such a thing exists... but if it did, it'd be kinda handy.

Although, I couldn't quickly find anyone that was selling one.

One of my coworkers recently had his bike crush his leg. He was at a stop light, he didn't put his foot down correctly or something, and he fell over with the bike. Broke his leg in three places. He's been in the hospital for a week, will have surgery next week, and will probably be in a leg cast for a while.

My cousin's been riding for a couple of years, and he's had plenty of accidents. (No injuries, though.)

Just saying. As a bike-rider, you're basically guaranteed mishaps. You probably already know.
