Today's Scary-Go-Round gave me a bit of a turn just now. The interior of that chip shop they're in is a dead ringer for the ones that are strewn across Cork, and it triggered a huge wedge of sensory memory. Taste of vinegar; midnight winds with and without proper coat; brush of skin; first sun of the year; unfiltered cigarette; tire through rainslick; tilt of hill.

It only happens sometimes, but it's a kicker when it does. Even better than acid flashbacks!
