Things keep thinging

I seem to be low on words these days, but things are going more or less well.

• My replacement MacBook has arrived, and being as the sum of my impressions is basically "Woo!" I will spare you the detailed version.
• Jess Ann is visiting WA, so she and Robert and I went on a hike yesterday (rated "Most Difficult") and contemplated the nature of propane shrimp.
• Whoa, did you notice the Lacey library switched to a self-serve hold shelf? Wild. They're using the first four letters of my last name this time. (Oh well.)
• As I feared, Twitter is eating my Livejournal. It's more fun than I thought it would be, which is almost entirely attributable to Twitterific. So, props to them. (Maybe someday I'll pony up for the app fee, although truth be told I kind of actually like the Deck ads. Dear Deck, feel free to quote that.)
• I'm going to try and schedule a posture exam with my sometime massage therapist, which should hopefully bring me some enlightenment w/r/t what to do about my snakey back-bones. (Long boring saga.)
• New shoes!

And last but not least:

• I'll be going to Northfield, Massachusetts between the 26th of this month and the third of next month to get my farm on. Is there anyone over there that I don't know about? (unrendered, aren't you more or less in that area? Wanna get coffee?)
